An Amazing Compensation Structure
With uncapped commissions, the sky is the limit as far as your earning potential goes. Even better, Family Heritage offers their agents lifetime ownership of their renewal commissions, beginning with 50% vestment after 2 years and becoming 100% vested in your renewal commissions upon reaching your 5-year anniversary. You continue to get paid off of your hard work for the rest of your life even after you retire from Foundation Business Group and Family Heritage.
A first-year agent’s average annual income is over $60,000, with some of our top rookies earning well over $100,000 in their first year. If developing as a leader and building your own agency is a goal of yours, our agency directors earn between $250,000-$750,000 depending on the size of their agency. And the nice part of Foundation Business Group is that your ability to do this is based on performance and not politics. Every person has the exact same opportunity to build their own agency if they desire.

The articles below are called “Eagles”… a sales agent is asked to write an Eagle anytime they have a particularly outstanding sales week in which they sell more than $10,000 GAP (Gross Annual Premium) that week, which equates to about 10 or more policies. One-On-One Field Training
In most sales positions around the country a new representative will attend a couple of classes, job shadow a senior sales rep in that person’s home territory, and then you are on your own. In Foundation Business Group we pride ourselves on having the best sales training in the country. Your team leader goes and works with you throughout your first week in your home territory to help you get settled in and off to a fast start. Our core philosophy in leadership in Foundation Business Group is that you can’t teach what you don’t know and you can’t lead where you won’t go. This hands-on field training will not only help you learn the technical side of selling, but also help you build and form great personal and professional habits out in the field. As with any sales career, your effort and attitude are direct contributors to your success, and we want you to succeed as much as you want to succeed!
During your 3 weeks of field training, we provide you with audio training modules to listen to each morning. These audios are chock-full of great mentoring, tips, techniques, advice, and inspiration to start your day off right.
No matter where in the country you are, hop on a call with your awesome FBG team for some uplifting conversation, brain-storming, inspiring training from one of our leaders, and the occasional bad pun or corny joke.
Optional out-of-town training weeks called “Trainmores” are offered in various different locations once a month. They’re an amazing and fun way to ramp up your skill set and meet new people and other Family Heritage agents from all over the country. On average, our agents sell about three times the revenue volume that they would during a regular week working their home turf.

Leadership Summits are offered several times a year in various locations across the United States and will empower you to take your leadership and mentoring skills to a whole new level.

We believe in leadership by example, which is why we only promote from within. All of our current sales managers and directors began their careers as outside sales representatives prior to moving into a leadership/management position. If you have proven sales experience and can duplicate your past success using our sales systems and training, you’ll be on the fast track to greatness in no time!
